In line with our ongoing expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated WordPress Developer and Implementer to join our in-house team. This full-time position will involve a range of responsibilities including designing, developing, and implementing WordPress websites that meet our stringent quality criteria.

Key Responsibilities:

1. WordPress Development and Customization

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress websites, incorporating both themes and plugins to fulfill client specifications.

1. Content Management

• Handle the uploading, updating, and organization of website content, ensuring seamless content delivery and data integrity.

1. Performance Optimization

• Implement website performance improvements through techniques such as caching, code minification, and image optimization.

1. SEO Implementation

• Utilize best practices in search engine optimization to maximize website visibility and organic traffic.

1. User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) Design

• Collaborate with graphic designers to implement responsive, visually appealing, and user-friendly website designs.

1. Technical Support and Maintenance

• Offer technical support for ongoing projects, including issue troubleshooting and resolution.

1. Collaboration and Reporting

• Engage in regular communication with project managers, designers, and developers to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Provide periodic updates on project status, challenges, and upcoming milestones through meetings and written reports.

1. Documentation

• Generate and manage documentation for coding standards, technical processes, and project histories to facilitate long-term project maintainability.

1. Quality Assurance

• Conduct rigorous testing protocols to guarantee website functionality, cross-browser compatibility, and minimal bugs before project launch.

1. Client Interaction

• Interact with clients as required to collect requirements, offer updates, and gather feedback for refinements.

Prerequisites for Application:

1. Educational Qualification

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.

1. Technical Skills

• In-depth understanding of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Extensive experience with WordPress, particularly with custom theme and plugin development.
• Proficiency in MySQL or similar relational databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

1. Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in WordPress development is required.

1. Soft Skills

• Exceptional problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to excel in both team-based and independent work environments.

1. Other Requirements

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator, is a plus.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and web services is beneficial.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA is advantageous.

1. Portfolio

• A portfolio showcasing past WordPress projects is mandatory for application consideration.
